To reduce dump or increased waste by 65%, the government has set objectives for it
For every sector of society and for every residual material.
In municipalities (and communities)
• 60% of glass, plastic, metal, fibre (paper and cardboard), heavy residue and putrescent material (Food West and Green West);
• 80% of non-refillable beer and soft drink containers;
• 50% of garments;
• 20% non-refundable metal;
• 75% oil, paint and pesticides (hazardous household materials);
• 60% of all other hazardous household materials.
In industries, businesses and institutions
• 70% plastic and fibre (paper and cardboard), wood and textiles;
• 95% metal and glass;
• 60% putrescible substances (food waste and green waste);
• 85% tire (consumer ', industry', the business' and out-of-service tires of the institute).
In the construction, renovation and demolition industry
• 60% of all recoverable materials.4R's (recycle, reuse, reduce, recovery) is the backbone of solid waste management in a world.
1. Reduce
We should reduce waste generation at the source. This means reducing the amount of waste during
Production, distribution, purchase, use and elimination (which, by the way, you can avoid!).
First of all, before buying something, ask yourself if you really need it. If the answer is yes, and if possible, try
Service:
- Change your consumption of disposable items and products by reusable ones. for example?
- Cloth napkins (washable) instead of paper napkins (disposable);
- Cloth or strainer coffee filters (washable) instead of paper filters (disposable);
- Remove throw razors, lighters, non-rechargeable batteries, etc.
- Buy Used;
- Buy recycled or recycled products;
- Buy products that are not over-packed;
- Buy recycled products;
- Buy products that contain recycled materials.
2. Reuse
Reuse means thinking before deciding that we are not missing a product/item.
- Do I have something I have forgotten?
- Do I really need it?
- Can a friend or someone in my family lend me?
Reuse is about thinking before getting rid of an object, about retrieving it.
- Does a relative or needy family need it?
- Local schools can put it to good use.
- Does any community organization or support agency recycle it?
- A garage sale can help complete the meet.
- Does the community garage collect it?
Thus reuse is about extending life or giving a second life to something we previously considered as "garbage". "You are visiting every time you visit: libraries, rental shops (videos, appliances), repair shops (shoe repair shops, electronics help desks), garage sales, sports equipment stores, used clothing counters and stores, Antique dealers, furniture refiners, used-book and CD stores, building materials stores, stores selling products in bulk and reuse containers, and computer and home appliance stores.
3. Recycle
Like reuse, recycle means recovering an object and giving it a second life. While reusing an object
means using it without really modifying it or favouring multi-purpose objects and products over
single-use ones, recycling means bringing an object back to a state of raw material: paper goes back to
pulp, plastics are melted and moulded into new products, etc. What was once considered waste
becomes a resource, thus breaking with the linear extraction-production-consumption-destruction logic.
With this new mindset, an environmentally friendly cycle and sustainable development are established,
and that reduces consumption and its negative impact.
4. Recover
Most of the materials thrown in the garbage can be used and processed in ways other than being
destroyed. This is what is called recovering. Reusing, recycling and composting are the most frequently used methods for recovering waste. When it’s not possible to reuse or
recycle objects—such as dead batteries, ink cartridges or cell phones, which all contain toxic elements
labelled hazardous household waste—there is one last option before throwing them away: scrap
dealers, recycling workers and recoverers.
We are
manufacturing twin shaft industrial shredder which is used to cut solid waste into smaller pieces. These shredders are specially designed for solid waste. In this process, large items are fed into the shredder. Industrial shredders are typically heavy-duty and high volume systems used to process such recycling material streams as· E-waste, Plastic, Wood, Paper, Metal(Aluminium tins, lightly equipped metals), Rubber etc..,
